Providing pupils with the best and most appropriate information that will help to guide them with making the right ‘next step’ choices is an integral and essential part of education today. Preparation for life after school, further and higher education, the world of work and the responsibilities of adulthood, begins at home and continues through school.

In order to ensure that our pupils leave us with the skills necessary to make informed choices about life after school we aim to provide the following for ALL of our pupils:
•Opportunities for evaluating all of the options available to them;
•The freedom to make informed choices about continuing in education and training;
•Essential information concerning the key skills required for employment;
•Opportunities to manage and take responsibility their own learning;
•Experience the world of work;
•Provide impartial careers guidance;
•Opportunities to participate in vocational learning.
