Volunteering at Clay County Cat Care

This term, four of our students have chosen to volunteer at Clay County Cat Care as part of their Brannel Challenge. Clay County Cat Care is dedicated to helping and rehoming the many cats and kittens that are abandoned, abused, unwanted, and in need of help. Since opening in January 2013, it has rehomed over 500 cats and kittens to their forever homes.

The students have been visiting every Wednesday afternoon to help with tasks such as cleaning the cat accommodation and hand-feeding young kittens who have lost their mother. The girls have been really enjoying it and are planning to volunteer at the cat rescue in their own time once their Brannel Challenge is completed. The students will record their volunteering hours with V Inspired and achieve their 10 hour volunteer certificate by the end of the Brannel Challenge.
