This week, Brannel took part in the ‘Biggest Ever Football Session’ with 110 girls participating in the Youth Sport Trust initiative to give girls equal access to football in school.
The event was hosted by The FA and Barclays as part of the FA’s Let Girls Play campaign.
The session highlighted the importance of unlocking equal opportunities for girls to participate in football in schools and raise awareness for the Barclays Girls Football School Partnerships programme.
Our newly-formed girls football teams have been a huge success, with many students getting involved in training after school and local matches with other secondary schools.
