Brannel School’s Green Charter

Brannel School is committed to teaching young people to be environmentally literate and to develop their knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence to practice and promote sustainability in their community. On Friday 20th September, Brannel students declared a climate emergency as part of a massive global day of action.

As part of its commitment to the Green Charter, Brannel has also introduced “Meat Free Mondays” in the school canteen and has set up an Eco Schools Council. Penryn Architects, Märraum, have also been engaged to design a sustainable landmark building as a hub for school and community engagement with environmental education, horticulture and animal care.
