During Brannel Challenge, Year 10 students have been taking part in a pilot project with Cornwall College to try out different trades at the St Austell campus.
The project aims to introduce students to a variety of careers and college options, with hands-on practical construction tasks to challenge them. Many of the Year 10 students who are taking part have never considered a career in construction.
Students began with plumbing and are learning soldering skills, how to use different joints and cut pipework.
