Floyd Steadman Visits

We were thrilled to welcome Floyd Steadman to talk to students in Year 7 to 10 in April.

Floyd shared his inspirational journey from being a young boy living in the care system to achieving greatness on the rugby pitch with Saracens.

His determination to challenge unconscious bias saw him become the first black headteacher of a public school in England and inspire the next generation to chase their dreams – including England Rugby’s Maro Itoje.

Floyd kindly donated his time to talk to students and gave our school library two signed copies of his book, A Week One Summer.
