Last week, a group of Brannel students were given the opportunity to attend the North Cornwall Book Festival and meet Michael Morpurgo!
The students had a workshop with three writers (John Boyne, Liz Kessler and Matt Windle) and were given opportunities to develop their own writing skills.
The group of Brannel students got the chance to hear Sir Michael Morpurgo read from his new book ‘Boy Giant’. He also talked about how Cornwall has inspired his writing and how the stories he read as a child captured his imagination.
